Pink Panther

The Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) – a reconnaissance and raiding unit of the British Army during the Second World War. Contrary to more standardised styles of camouflage, the LRDG utilised a dusty shade of pink to colour their vehicles. The pink paint scheme was said to be a highly effective desert camouflage to hide the vehicles at the most dangerous times of the day, dawn and dusk – helping the vehicles disappear into the hazy horizon.
